چکیده
The development of composite sections is great importance in structural design, with the aim reducing weight and deflection while limiting effect on section’s strength durability. This paper examines computational analysis where reinforced concrete was replaced autoclaved aerated (AAC) compression zone. first principles combined Hook’s law were adopted to find a flexure, shear, equivalent modulus elasticity, effective moment inertia, deflection. results are discussed investigated using finite element models developed by ANSYS WORKBENCH software. We found that proposed analytical model can effectively provide solution for cross-section. comparison between theoretical calculation cracking loads percentage ranges from 89 110%. ratio elasticity ranged 0.91 1.06. inertia 92% 118%. 0.87 1.15.

Fibre reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete studied by computed tomography
The production process of fibre reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete results in a preferential orientation of the fibres. The fibre orientation largely influences the strength and the deformation behaviour of this building material, therefore information on the fibre orientation is highly desirable. Computed tomography measurements allow for the non destructive investigation of the material. ...
متن کاملNumerical simulation for the drying shrinkage of autoclaved aerated concrete
A mathematical model for the description of drying shrinkage of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is presented, bringing together the hygrothermal and mechanical considerations. The verification of the model is done using an approximation of a real laboratory experiment. Then, the applicability of the model is demonstrated by a numerical simulation of drying shrinkage and wetting expansion of A...

Abstract—Various retrofit techniques for reinforced concrete frame with infill wall have been steadily developed. Among those techniques, strengthening methodology based on diagonal FRP strips (FRP bracings) has numerous advantages such as feasibility of implementing without interrupting the building under operation, reduction of cost and time, and easy application. Considering the safety of st...
